The 7th International Conference on Social Sciences 2020 (ICOSS 2020) invited academicians, social workers, policymakers, and other stakeholders from around the world to present their research papers virtually. The two-day conference was held from 17th – 18th September 2020 under the theme “Political Conflict and Peace-Building in a Changing World”. The opening remarks were made by the Conference Convener Mr. Isanka P. Gamage (Co-Founder & Managing Director – The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka) along with the Conference Chair Prof. Steven Ratuva (Conference Chair and Keynote Speaker, Director, Macmillan Brown Center for Pacific Studies Professor, Department of Anthropology and Sociology, University of Canterbury, New Zealand).
The Keynote Forum was enlightened by the Conference Chair Prof. Steven Ratuva under the title “People, Power and Peace: where are we Heading?” whereas the plenary speech was delivered by Dr. Tuhin Roy (Khulna University, Bangladesh).
