The 6th International Conference on Social Sciences (ICOSS 2019), was held on 19th – 20th September in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the theme “Empowered Humanity: Making Knowledge, Innovation and Progress Accessible to All”. The conference was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Department of Social and Development Sciences, Faculty of Human Ecology, University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia and Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies, University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand as the Co-hosting partners while Noida International University, India The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan, University of Sargodha, Pakistan as academic partners, and The Institute of Social Sciences, India as the Strategic Partner for this year’s conference.
ICOSS 2019 covered a range of disciplinary areas such as sociology, international relations economics, technology, political science, development studies and gender studies, to name a few along with the speeches from renowned speakers, best presentations, roundtable discussions, and networking opportunities. Moreover, the conference welcomed 50+ participants from 17 countries around the world.
